
For years, I was the person who could do it all. I built a successful career, raised a family, kept up with every demand, and wore resilience like a badge of honour. From the outside, it looked like I had it together. But on the inside? I was exhausted, burnt out, and running on empty.
Each day felt like groundhog day — surviving, not living. My health suffered, my energy disappeared, and the joy I once had for life and work faded into the background.
That was the turning point. I realised that the way I was living wasn’t sustainable. And I also realised I wasn’t alone — countless people around me were caught in the same cycle of stress, burnout, and default living.
My recovery wasn’t about a single breakthrough. It was about learning to reset my nervous system, reconnect with what really mattered, and realign my choices with the life I wanted to live — consciously, not by default.
The practices I discovered and refined became the foundation of my work today. They’re practical, science-based, and grounded in lived experience. They’re not just about “managing stress” or “coping,” but about creating the mental, emotional, and physiological conditions that allow each and every one of us to thrive.
Alongside my personal journey, I bring more than 17 years of experience as a Clinical Psychologist. Over the course of my career, I’ve worked across some of the most high-pressure environments imaginable — from policing and Defence to government, healthcare, and corporate leadership.
Through these roles, I’ve designed and delivered programs that integrate trauma-informed practice, resilience training, leadership development, and wellbeing strategies. I’ve also supervised and mentored psychologists, facilitated cultural change initiatives, and partnered with organisations to embed sustainable systems of care.
Today, through Becoming Conscious, I bring this expertise together with my personal lived experience to support individuals and organisations in creating lasting change.
My mission is simple: to help people shift from living by default to living consciously — by design.

I’m also a wife and mother, raising my two beautiful children alongside my husband, Dominik.
Our family loves adventure — from hiking volcanoes and kayaking through gorges to swimming with manta rays and whale sharks. We’re just as happy camping under the stars as we are having a games or movie night at home.
For me, it’s all about connection — with the people and experiences that make life joyful and meaningful. These moments remind me every day why this work matters — because when we live consciously, we don’t just change our own lives, we change the lives of those around us.
